  • Reduces the risk of potential misuse of confidential information.
  • Forced email encryption for selected classification levels and automatic assignment of email classification based on attachment classification.
  • An integrated solution in the MS Office environment.
  • Option of bulk classification for easy classification of already existing documents.
  • The solution meets the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard for the field of information classification and protection.
  • Increases employee accountability and awareness of security issues when handling confidential information.

How does DocTag work?

When you create a document, save it or send it, you classify it, for example as “Confidential”. DocTag then automatically embeds information about the level of sensitivity of the document into the document header, into the extended document properties, and also inserts a tag for DLP systems.

Each time a file is classified or reclassified, an event is generated and logged on the logging server. The configuration server, which is already part of the installation, among other things allows for creation of reports about events saved on the logging server. The entire solution can also be integrated with SIEM systems very easily.

Is DocTag able to report classifications?

You can efficiently check classifications within the company in the administration interface and gain an overall overview of document classification. You can, for example, quickly identify the number of classifying users, reclassifications and other metrics.

Is DocTag optimised for DLP?

DocTag increases the efficiency and accuracy of DLP systems by forcing users to classify and mark documents and emails. A special tag is embedded in the document which indicates the nature of the information and which can be used to simply and efficiently set DLP policies. We support almost all DLP system producers (Forcepoint, McAfee and Symantec among others).
